In a first, Coralius, which was carrying its first LNG cargo, arrived at Norway on its maiden voyage.

On September 14, the bunker vessel, loaded with LNG cargo from the company’s production facility in Risavika, Scavenger,  arrived at Skangas’ terminal in Øra, Fredrikstad,

Kimmo Rahkamo, CEO of Skangas, said, “We are very content with further developing the marine LNG availability in Northern Europe by our new ship Coralius,” he further added, “We look forward to serving our existing and new customers wherever they need LNG by ship-to-ship. Today the technology and ship engines are sound for gas and we are more than ready to supply it by our supply chain.”

The 5,800 cbm Coralius was built by Royal Bedews and  joined Skangas on September 2 under a long-time charter deal agreed with the ship’s owners Anthony Veder and Sirius Shipping.
