ICTF Joint Powers Board to Meet Wednesday, Sept 9

The governing board of the Intermodal Container Transfer Facility Joint Powers Authority will meet at 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 9. The meeting will be held by video conference; the public and attendees are welcome to address the JPA Board. The board agenda is available and the meeting will be broadcast live at www.polb.com/webcast.

Members of the public are invited to participate in the meeting during public comment or on a specific agenda item via teleconference by calling the following number: (562) 317-3026 or by emailing info@ictf-jpa.org. Give your name, phone number and agenda item number you wish to comment on and you will be contacted by phone during the meeting. Deadline for comment requests is 4:45 p.m. on the day of the meeting. The ICTF serves to enhance the efficient flow of intermodal (truck and rail) cargo through the Port of Los Angeles and the Port Long Beach. The 148-acre facility is located approximately 5 miles north of the ports, at the northern terminus of State Highway 103, and is operated by Union Pacific.

The ICTF JPA is a public entity created in 1983 to oversee the development and operation of the ICTF. The JPA is administered by a governing board that operates separately and apart from the cities of Long Beach and Los Angeles.
