On Tuesday, 3 September, the MSC Gülsün is expected between 14.00 and 15.00 in the port of Rotterdam. The ship arrives at the APMT2 terminal on the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam.
This 400 m long and 62 m wide ship has a capacity of 23,756 TEU (20-foot standard container), making it the largest container ship in the world. The MSC Gülsün is the first container ship in the world to be able to transport 24 containers next to one another in width. So far, OOCL HongKong, which was commissioned two years ago, was the largest container ship with a capacity of 21,413 TEU.
