Twill, a digital shipping company with a mission to remove the barriers and reduce complexity of international trade, has announced that all ‘door-port-port-door’ combinations are now available on its online platform.
Users of the digital platform have access to instant online quotations and bookings on their preferred trade lanes at the click of a button, and Twill provides greater transparency in tracking cargo throughout the shipping process.
The announcement means that Twill now offers greater flexibility, more control and a wider variety of options for customers to determine how they wish to ship their goods, whether that’s door-to-door, door-to-port, port-to-door or port-to-port.
Daisy Zhang, Product Manager at Twill commented: “Our customers are the ones that drive our expansion and the development of the Twill platform. Everything we do is with the customer in mind and we always strive to provide them with that wow-factor in everything that we do. Today’s news means that they are now able to choose the service type they wish to use and make the booking suitable for their needs.”
Troels Stovring, CEO of Twill concluded: “Whenever we design a new feature for the Twill platform, we always keep simplicity at the front of our mind. We always minimise the extra time we add to the booking process with new features, we avoid using industry jargon, and we always keep our logic the same. Our announcement today means that we are now able to open up to a much bigger market and offer much more flexibility for our customers – all in a bid to keep shipping as simple as possible.”
These services are now available in all countries in which Twill operates across the globe.
