GasLog Germantown Successfully Completes Gas Trials

Greece-based LNG shipping company GasLog announced that its LNG newbuild HN2300 (Hull Number 2300) completed gas trials on Wednesday.

HN2300 will be named ‘GasLog Georgetown’ and has returned to the shipyard, the company stated. “All tests were successfully completed and all the crew and the site team disembarked safely,” GasLog LNG informed.

GasLog is an international owner, operator and manager of liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) carriers. The LNG carrier GasLog Germantown is a built by Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) and has a cargo capacity of 174,000 cbm.

The vessel featuring X-DF propulsion has been leased to U.S. LNG exporter Cheniere Energy, the company had informed earlier.
